Shipping policy

At Book Marked, we ship all orders within New Zealand using NZ Post. This policy explains how shipping works, delivery timeframes, and what to expect after placing your order.

1. Shipping Within New Zealand Only

We currently ship within New Zealand only.
Orders placed from outside NZ cannot be fulfilled.

2. Processing Times

  • Orders are processed every Wednesday and Thursday following the drop date (this is subject to change)
  • You will receive an email notification when your order has been shipped.

Please note: During busy periods (holidays, sales, restocks), processing times may be slightly longer.

3. Shipping Methods & Timeframes

All parcels are sent through NZ Post using tracked services.

Estimated delivery time after dispatch:

  • Urban addresses: 2–4 business days
  • Rural addresses (RD): 3–7 business days

These timeframes are estimates provided by NZ Post and may vary due to weather, courier delays, or regional volumes.

4. Shipping Rates

We have a flat rate of $10 for Urban addresses and $15 for Rural addresses. Free shipping is eligible for purchases over $65.

5. Tracking Your Parcel

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number.
You can track your parcel via the NZ Post Tracking service.

If you do not receive tracking details within 5 business days of ordering, please contact us.

6. Incorrect Shipping Information

Please ensure your delivery address is correct.
Book Marked is not responsible for parcels delayed or lost due to incorrect or incomplete address details provided at checkout.

7. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Parcels

If your parcel is significantly delayed, appears lost, or arrives damaged:

  • Contact us at bookmarkednz@gmail.com
  • Include your order number and tracking number
  • Provide photos if the parcel is damaged

We will work with NZ Post to investigate and provide a suitable solution.

8. Local Pickup

We currently do not offer local pickup.
